1. About us and these terms
1.1 These terms apply to every order placed on worldcitizenstyle.com (the "Website"). By placing an order you agree to them, so please read them before you buy.
1.2 The Website is operated by World Citizen Style, a trading name of World Citizen Ventures, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16969020. Our registered office is 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.
1.3 World Citizen Style is the authorised distributor of Ramraj and Ramyyam products for the United Kingdom and Europe.
1.4 You can contact us by email at hello@worldcitizenstyle.com or by phone on +44 7721 912876. If we need to contact you, we will use the email address or phone number you gave with your order.
1.5 These terms apply to consumers buying for personal use. Wholesale and trade buyers should also read section 7.
1.6 We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the Website when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
2. Our products
2.1 Many of our garments are handwoven or hand-finished by traditional artisans. Small variations in weave, colour, pattern and texture are a natural feature of handmade textiles, not a fault.
2.2 We take care to show products accurately, but colours may look slightly different depending on your screen and lighting.
2.3 Please check the size guide on each product page before ordering. Measurements are approximate and may vary slightly between items.
2.4 All products are subject to availability. If an item you ordered is out of stock, we will tell you and refund any payment taken for it.
2.5 Please follow the care instructions supplied with each garment. Damage caused by washing or handling contrary to those instructions is not a fault.
3. Prices and payment
3.1 Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) unless the Website displays another currency. Prices for UK orders include VAT at the current rate.
3.2 Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay.
3.3 If the Website shows prices in a currency other than GBP, the conversion is an estimate. Your card issuer or payment provider may apply its own exchange rate or fees.
3.4 We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by Shopify Payments or our other payment providers; we do not store your full card details.
3.5 If we discover an obvious pricing error, we will contact you before dispatch. You may then choose to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
3.6 Discount codes and promotions are subject to their own stated conditions, cannot be exchanged for cash and may be withdrawn at any time.
4. Placing an order
4.1 When you place an order, you make an offer to buy the products in your basket. We will send an email confirming that we have received your order. That email is not acceptance.
4.2 A contract between you and us is formed when we email to confirm your order has been dispatched.
4.3 We may decline an order, for example if an item is unavailable, we cannot deliver to your address, there is a pricing error, or we suspect fraud. If we decline, we will refund any payment in full.
4.4 Please check your order carefully before submitting it. Contact us as soon as possible if you notice a mistake.
5. Delivery
5.1 We deliver only to addresses in the United Kingdom and Europe. We cannot accept orders for delivery elsewhere.
5.2 Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and in our Shipping Policy. They are estimates, not guarantees. If delivery is delayed by events outside our control, we will tell you and do what we can to limit the delay.
5.3 If we have not delivered within 30 days of the contract being formed (or a later date we agreed with you), you may cancel and receive a full refund.
5.4 Orders to addresses outside the UK may be subject to import VAT, customs duties and handling fees in the destination country. 5.5 Please give a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not responsible for delays or loss caused by an incorrect address.
5.6 The products become your responsibility once they are delivered to you or to someone you nominate. Ownership passes to you once we have received payment in full.
6. Cancellations, returns and refunds
6.1 Your right to change your mind. If you are a consumer, you may cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you (or someone you nominate) receive the goods. This right comes from the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and equivalent laws in European countries.
6.2 How to cancel. Email hello@worldcitizenstyle.com with your name, order number and the items you are returning. You may use the model cancellation form below, but you do not have to.
6.3 Returning the goods. You must send the goods back within 14 days of telling us you are cancelling. Unless we say otherwise, you pay the cost of return postage. Items should be unworn, unwashed and returned with original tags and packaging where possible.
6.4 Your refund. We will refund the price of the goods and the standard delivery charge you paid, using your original payment method, within 14 days of receiving the goods back (or proof that you sent them). If you chose a more expensive delivery option, we only refund the cost of our cheapest standard option. We may reduce the refund if the goods have lost value because you handled them more than needed to check them, for example by wearing, washing or altering them.
6.5 Exceptions. The right to cancel does not apply to:

7. Wholesale, wedding and large event orders
7.1 For all wholesale, wedding and large event enquiries, email hello@worldcitizenstyle.com.
7.2 These orders are agreed individually. Prices, deposits, lead times, delivery and payment terms will be set out in a written quote or order confirmation, which takes priority over these terms where they differ.
7.3 Orders made or tailored to your specifications cannot be cancelled once production has started, except where the goods are faulty or not as agreed.
7.4 Business customers buying for resale or other trade purposes are not consumers. Sections 6.1 to 6.4 do not apply to them, and section 8.4 applies in place of consumer protections.
8. Website use, liability and legal
8.1 Intellectual property. All content on the Website, including text, photographs, logos and designs, belongs to us or our licensors (including Ramraj and Ramyyam). You may not copy or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.
8.2 Using the Website. You must not misuse the Website, for example by introducing viruses, attempting unauthorised access, or using it for fraud. We may suspend access for maintenance or other reasons without notice.
8.3 Our responsibility to consumers. If we break these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable. We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory consumer rights.
8.4 Business customers. If you buy as a business, we are not liable for loss of profit, business or revenue, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any order is limited to the price paid for that order.
8.5 Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as strikes, carrier disruption, extreme weather or supply problems. We will tell you promptly and you may cancel and receive a refund for goods not yet delivered.
8.6 Privacy. We use your personal data only as described in our Privacy Policy, in line with UK GDPR and the EU GDPR where it applies.
8.7 Complaints. If you have a complaint, please email hello@worldcitizenstyle.com and we will aim to reply within [5] working days.
8.8 Governing law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you live in a European country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country and may bring proceedings in your local courts.
8.9 General. If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest will continue to apply. If we delay enforcing these terms, we can still enforce them later. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent.
